Achievement comments or game help page.

First my apologies if this has been brought up before, but I looked and it didn't seem like it had.

How about a comments option under each achievement on the specific game page, not your profile. Meaning I go to Dead Island and I can see all the achievements for this game now under the achievements listed a (guide?) comment option. Yes in case your wondering it would be something very similar to what TA has, but this is not a TA exclusive option either, other site have this, I was just wondering if we could to.

I find myself here alot, but I also find myself referring to TA for their user generated guides as well. If we start that here I'm sure we could get more people and more activity.

We just have to remember to not blatantly and out right copy and paste IE steal their guides, proper credit should go to whom ever made them, if they would allow it. If not. A new guide can easily be written up.

I think this would be a great way to promote the site. I first found out about TA because of the guides. I also created an account on the site since it was the only way to viewing Secret Achievements. GTN could also do the same; program the secret achievements to only be viewed by people who have already registered.

Yup, and if you look in your activity feed (well do mine because I have actually have an item for this), you can filter by "achievement comments". I requested that filter a few months back. I won't be digging for that link.

Ah I see what you're talking about now, but I think this can be improved, it's a bit hard to use, much like the reviews were until Eric tailored them. I think that whole idea can be redesigned to make it a bit more user friendly. The page feels over crowded.

We definitely need a direct link to the comments and maybe a filter between comments and solutions or a different boarder for solutions so that users can quickly pick them out of comments under each achievement, I didn't even know each achievement had it's own page..lol..

We could make the recent players small tiles like on the game's main page. The recently unlocked stats can go to the side under friends activity.

OK I just posted a bunch of comments, reposting MY personal solutions to achievements I got. I noticed there is a small icon that appears off to the side of the achievement after you've made a comment to it. I like that, I think that icon should be there all the time maybe with a number nest to it if possible to show how many comments are there to that achievement.

I also used BOLD letters to designate I was attempting to write a solution. I kind of don't like the comments auto formatting my solutions though.. I'm considering making a thread for each solution but I think that would be a little overboard, maybe one inclusive thread like 360.org has "road maps" but that would take a bitor work and I would like for that to be done by one person so that we are not plagiarizing, again this is just options and observations. Right now I can't authorize anything like that by myself.

Thanks for the input. I can work on adding the comments total to the achievement listings. That's a great idea. I'll add this in soon.

Just to point out though to you.. you can upload videos on a separate page for the game think a video series chronicling achievements would be a great idea and uploading videos earn you a badge!
