Most frozen waffles are square, belgian waffles are generally round, as well as eggo waffles.

I love waffles. I have a belgian waffle maker, it works wonders.

Waffles are round, square waffles are impersonators. I also love pizzelles, especially when rolled into a cannoli. My wife is Italian, I love her so.
